I hate that they cut this from the original movie because during testing “children’s mind wandered off” and it “slowed the pace of the movie.” One of my all time favorite Disney duets. It’s just so sad and bittersweet. :( But it takes the moment to be grateful and just happy that love happened, despite its unhappy ending. Seriously. Whyyyyy, children, couldn’t you understand how heartbreaking and important this song was!? D;
